I received a Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, IA on the shores of the Mighty Mississippi River. While in school had the opportunity to train under physicians and coaches that work with current and former athletes from the U.S. Olympic team. I hold a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science from Arizona State University (Go Devils!). During college I even spent two years in South Korea as a volunteer.
I graduated with honors from Career Academy, Anchorage in 2007 and have gone on to take additional training in Sports Massage and Myofascial Release.
I am a deep tissue therapist who enjoys working with patients to restore a healthy pain free body. I work with all kinds of health issues whether it’s from a sports related injury, recovering from surgery or just stress of day-to-day life. I am very thorough in my work and address the body as an entire unit being careful to assess what the patient and the body is feeling.
I work with people who are managing chronic illness and want to restore their health using a more holistic approach. I help them to better understand their diagnosis and test results, tailor their nutrition to maximize healing, empower them to ask for what they need, and help to validate their experience of symptoms their current care provider may not wish to acknowledge.
